Our Process

At Devanshi Jewels, the jewelry creation process begins with you, the customer. Rather than presenting you with a small list of options, our experienced professionals collaborate with you to find out your needs and desires – from the kinds of metal and gems to the size of the ring, the length of the chain - and your budget. If you've seen any examples of jewelry you like, our designers will look at those pieces with you also to give us a head start on delivering your dream. If you aren't sure what you want, our designers will work to understand your tastes and then create design options that fit.

When a design has been chosen, we can also give you an estimate as to how long the manufacturing process will take. Our process usually takes between two and four weeks, but varies depending on your specifications and the materials required.

At this point in the process, we'll ask you to sign an agreement to ensure that you get what you've asked for. However, no payment is required until you're completely satisfied with the final product.

Now it gets really exciting. We take great care to select the highest quality, most comfortable metals and alloys for your special piece. We will select only high-quality gems from our inventory or purchase them from some of the most reputable gem suppliers in the world. Our highly trained experts have years of experience in evaluating the raw materials for your jewelry, so you can be certain that you're getting the best materials available. Depending on the size of your gems, they will be certified (greater than ½ carat) or assured (less than ½ carat) to ensure maximum value.

As we complete each phase of manufacture, we'll share pictures of the work in progress with you and solicit your feedback. We want you to see your custom-made piece as it develops, so that you can feel confident that your dream is coming true in the hands of our expert craftsmen. As you see the fruits of our labor, you're free to alter the design, refine your needs and change your mind.

When you see the pre-set, you'll start to have a very clear idea of what your finished product will look like. As you match this against your vision of the ideal piece of jewelry, we still welcome alterations and refinements to the design.

Your one-of-a-kind custom jewelry is nearly done! The pre-polish phase shows you the metals and gems together in an almost-finished piece. There's still an opportunity to change your mind or refine the design.

Throughout the entire process, our craftsmen take the greatest care to deliver the highest quality jewelry you've ever seen or worn. In the final manufacturing, we'll treat your metals and gems gently as we put the finishing touches on a piece you'll treasure for a lifetime.

After we have your approval of the finished work, we'll send your new jewelry to you. Your piece will come with documentation of the gem certification, US appraisal for your insurance and estate purposes, and an invoice.
